Each year, the young players of the ABC (Baseball Academy of Canada) will play all over North America (when the pandemic does not slow them down, of course) in order to rub shoulders with the best possible competition.
Young people, who are part of the cream in Quebec, do not, however, have unlimited financial resources. Raising funds therefore becomes necessary.
And about that, the ABC found an interesting way to raise funds.
Comedian Maxim Martin, who is a big sports fan and loves baseball, will give a show on January 29 (at 3 p.m.) at the Marcellin-Champagnat Theater.
Buying his ticket could help a youngster raise funds for a baseball trip.
The link to buy tickets for Maxim Martin and his guests is available here. As you can see, it is possible to buy your ticket (or tickets) by encouraging a young person directly or by supporting the ABC as such.
There will also be a collectibles auction, 50/50 and door prizes on site to add to the fun.
Plus, if you purchase ABC merchandise, you could win a round of golf with Russell Martin.
In addition to helping young people, which is the primary goal, it allows them to have a great day. Everyone gets something out of it.
Note that Maxim Martin has always loved baseball, he who made many ball trips to the United States. In particular, he closely followed the career of Jesen Therrien.
