Former major league baseball player Yasiel Puig has chosen to play in the Venezuelan league this winter.
And the least we can say, his visit to Venezuela does not go unnoticed.
During a final match between Tiburones de La Guaira and Cardenales de Lara, Puig simply “lost his temper”.
You should know that a few moments earlier, Tiburones shortstop Maikel Garcia, who also plays with the Kansas City Royals, had taunted the opposing dugout after a home run in the eighth inning.
It was a long ball that gave his team the lead, much to the displeasure of the Cardenales.
By going around the trails with this attitude, it was enough for Puig to get angry. This led to a general fight.
Here are pictures.
The 33-year-old Cuban, who notably played with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Cleveland, is not his first general scrum in professional baseball.
In 2019, he was part of a battle between his Cincinnati Reds and the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was suspended for eight games.
