Yankees don’t pay for Wi-Fi on team plane

In the storms in a teacup category, the New York Yankees organization not paying for Wi-Fi on the team’s plane is certainly near the top.

That said, in terms of “news”, the New York training does not cover the cost of $9 per flight, per person, to inquire about this service during flight hours.

Annually, on average, teams pay $40,000 a year for an internet plan in charter planes, indicated Stephanie Apstein of Sports Illustrated.

“Our plane has several very interesting pieces of equipment, such as poker tables. I don’t pay the $9 on principle, but I would take the free Wi-Fi,” admits pitcher Jameson Taillon, who is no longer with the Yankees.

Could the six-billion-dollar franchise pay its players the internet? Probably.

Could gamers collectively pay for the internet all together? Probably.

Until then, it sometimes takes a few hours to respond to our loved ones between two trips.

The Cincinnati Reds would be the only other team that would not pay for Wi-Fi, according to a survey by Stephanie Apstein.
