World Series: Brandon Belt believes Blue Jays should be favorites

As we know, the Blue Jays have an excellent formation. Will the club be able to surpass itself in 2023? That still remains to be seen.

But we know that many people believe in them.

Among those who believe in the Jays, we must also note the name of Brandon Belt. Freshly arrived in the Queen City to support Vladimir Guerrero Jr. at first base and act as the hitter of choice, he did not choose Toronto by chance.

He truly believes the club needs to be among the favorites to win the World Series.

In his eyes, the additions made during the off-season should allow the club to move to the next level in view of 2023.

But the guys will have to take action.

It’s good to be the favourites, but you want to be recognized as a champion at the end of the year.

Of course, as a two-time World Series champion (2012 and 2014) with the San Francisco Giants, he knows what he’s talking about. He has the experience to take it to the next level.

He feels the Jays roster (one of his reasons for signing in Ontario) has what it takes to earn top honors. It will be up to him to play accordingly.
