At the moment, there are four players to follow in the AAA at the level of Quebec baseball: Édouard Julien, Otto Lopez, Abraham Toro and Charles Leblanc.
The last three have tasted the Majors and want to return there while Julien graduated from AA. We should, if all goes well, see all four guys in the Majors in the short to medium term this year.
And to help himself, Charles Leblanc took matters into his own hands this afternoon.
During a big game for his own, the Laval native hit the long ball twice to remind the Marlins that he is a choice option.
In two games since the start of the season, Leblanc hit three hits, which raised his average to .375. The sample is small, but such a match is obviously good for him.
Talking about yourself is often a good idea.
After all, we know there will be injuries in Miami this season and players will underperform. recall opportunities will be there, we agree.
Remember, however, that Leblanc doesn’t know much about Skip Schumaker, the club’s new manager, because of his injury in camp – and the reverse is also true. It is no longer Don Mattingly who is in charge of the club, as was the case last year.
