Quietly, but surely, the free agent market is active in the MLB.
Indeed, according to Jesse Rogers of the ESPN network, shortstop Tim Anderson has reached an agreement with the Miami Marlins on the terms of a one-year contract worth five million dollars.
The deal will be confirmed once the 30-year-old has passed his physical tests.
