The gut of the circuits makes talk in Baltimore

More and more, teams are finding interesting ways to celebrate long balls. Whether it’s with a hat, shopping cart or jacket, it’s fun to see.

The time when José Bautista pays for a bat flip a year later is over.

But this year, the one that gets the most attention is the celebration of the Orioles. The Baltimore club, as we saw three times yesterday, pulled out a hose to get the guy who hit the club’s long ball to drink some water.

And the guys are keen to let it be known that this is not a tool like the one used to drink alcohol in large quantities, but a garden hose like you find in every house.

This is the effect Orioles players were looking for. After all, a young ball player has already drunk water straight from his parents’ hose to quench his thirst.

This is what the Orioles symbolize. And in the locker room, it passes.

I love that. We agree that it is important to stay well hydrated.

That’s what it’s all about – doing the little things like that.

Since the start of the season, the Orioles have 15 home runs. I really feel that with all the youngsters growing, the club will be strong this year.

The Orioles are currently playing for .500 and are tied for last in the American East, tied with the Red Sox. It will be tight in the division…and every homer will help make the difference.
