Over the past few years, several teams have had the chance to launch a City Connect uniform. The goal, as indicated in the name of the concept, is to create a uniform that will fit well into the culture of the city.
But of course, as the teams are part of a city, some clubs use history to connect with their supporters.
That’s the case with the Braves, who made sure Hank Aaron was proud of their uniform.
In a video posted this morning on social networks, it is clear that the Braves have chosen to appeal to tradition in a jersey that is frankly successful.
Even the widow of the great player likes the result.
With “The A” on the jersey, #715 in the collar, and the mountain top on the sleeves (to honor the king of the home runs, as the club puts it), the Braves really want Hank Aaron out. foreground.
Add to that the fact that his favorite phrase “Keep Swining” is written on the jersey.
It’s something, like a sweater. In fact, it’s definitely one of my favorites from the entire City Connect jersey collection.
The uniform, which will be used every Saturday at home, will notably be worn on April 8, the 49th anniversary of the legend’s 715th circuit.
Note that several other teams are about to announce their City Connect uniform. The Reds, Pirates, Mariners and Rangers will notably be entitled to their jerseys this year.
