Suspension of Fernando Tatis Jr.: the owner is not angry

It’s tonight that the San Diego Padres will welcome Fernando Tatis Jr. to the roster for the first time since 2021, since his surgeries…and his suspension. It’s been a while.

I can’t wait to see how it will be received. I have a feeling it will be well received by the Padres and their fans…as well as the bookmakers.

But overseas, as will be the case tonight in Arizona? Allow me to doubt it.

I have a feeling he could get called a cheat quite often (like he did in the minors during his fitness stint)

But at least (for him), in his team, the storm seems to have passed. The players who resent him seem to be moving on.

And club owner Peter Seidler is the first to say he doesn’t blame his star player.

In his eyes, he made a mistake and he believes that humans who are strong are able to pick themselves up to face music and adversity.

Tatis Jr. was angrier than his boss about it because he kicked the ass after his suspension.

I don’t get mad at stories like that. We are all humans.

But it was obviously important to see how he was going to get up for the rest of things. (…) It can make him stronger.

–Peter Seidler

Remember that the return of Tatis Jr. to the lineup will be good for the San Diego club, which needs an attack. If Junior can transpose his successes from AAA to the top, he will help his club.

And if it can revive Juan Soto, it will be a nice bonus.
