Already two months have passed since the opening of the 2023 season in the MLB. A lot has happened and a lot more will change, but now is a great time to look back on the past few weeks by ranking major league baseball teams by what they’ve accomplished and the quality of their rosters.
So without further ado, here is the second version of Passion MLB’s State of Forces for this campaign.
1 – Tampa Bay Rays
Taking advantage of one of the easiest schedules in MLB in April, the Rays took the opportunity to widen the gap with their pursuers. However, it is more difficult these days.
2 – Texas Rangers
The Rangers’ devastating offense allows them to climb to second place in the rankings. They came close to dislodging the Rays at the top.
3 – Baltimore Orioles
The young team from Maryland continues to impress at the start of the campaign. It remains to be seen if this can last until the fall dance.
4 – Atlanta Braves
Despite several losses on the mound, the Braves somehow survived, even if the pressure began to mount in their division.
5- Los Angeles Dodgers
Still without a quality shortstop, the Dodgers continue their dominance in the National League West, even if it’s been a little tougher lately.

7 – New York Yankees
8 – Arizona Diamondbacks
9-Boston Red Sox
10-Toronto Blue Jays
