Well then.
Last night, at the All-Star Game, the National League managed to win the game by a score of 3-2. And we will say it: it was a scenario that I will qualify as very improbable.
For what? Because for more than 10 years, it was a domination of the American.
It’s curious to see that, but the last time the American lost an All-Star Game was in 2012. So it’s pretty crazy to see that.
So we can say that the Braves beat the Rangers yesterday. Both clubs had a lot of players present at the All-Star Game.
But all that to say that yesterday, it was the receiver of the Rockies (Elias Diaz) who stood out. It was his two-run homer late in the game – in the eighth inning – that made the difference.
Luis Arraez, Bo Bichette and Yandy Diaz produced the other points of the game.
It’s interesting to see that it’s an unlikely player who ended the debate like this. And I’m not talking about the debate “wear the uniform of the stars or his team during the game”…
The 47,159 people who were there (and who implored Shohei Ohtani to sign in town) were therefore treated to a good All-Star Game.
I say “All-star game”, but the festivities of the last few days in general have been on point. We had a great event to cut the season in two.
NOW? Two days of rest in the MLB before resuming activities on Friday evening.
The little rest will be good for everyone… but especially for Jordan Romano, who was injured last night on the sidelines of the All-Star Game.
- Support for Oakland continued at the All-Star Game.
- Anthony Volpe on his start to the season.
