Replacement of Chaim Bloom: candidates refuse interviews

A few weeks ago, the Boston Red Sox fired Chaim Bloom. Whatever the reasons, the Red Sox have moved on.

They are therefore at the stage of replacing the boss in preparation for the off season.

Obviously, the club is making calls to replace Bloom. There is a list of candidates which has been established by management.

And what we learn is that according to journalist Christopher Smith, candidates refused to be interviewed in Boston,

What’s curious is that it’s Boston. It’s not Minnesota or Milwaukee on a budget, for example.

It’s still Boston. The club is struggling, but it’s a big club that has money (and flexibility) as well as interesting prospects.

But why do people say no?

Because CEOs and presidents of baseball operations, there have been several in recent years with the Red Sox. Bosses don’t have much rope, let’s say.

The new boss would also automatically inherit manager Alex Cora.

note that the name of Michael Hill is currently being talked about in Boston, but there is no guarantee that this will automatically take place. We’ll see.

I really wonder who will end up inheriting the position. After all, Boston is an important market and the club has some elements to go a long way.

This is to be continued.
