Reds: three consecutive defeats of 1-0

Not scoring a point in three consecutive games while granting only one in each of these three games is almost impossible. Except for Cincinnati Reds.

Indeed, for the second time only since 1920, the start of the major baseball era, a team has lost three consecutive games by the 1-0 brand, Ohio representatives lost another time in the 1-0 pointing against the Brewers of Milwaukee last night (Thursday) in Wisconsin.

The Reds therefore mark the history of the MLB, but are found on the wrong side of it, the last time that this feat was achieved being 65 years ago.

And it is not only bad luck or a series of unfortunate events that make Cincinnati find itself in this situation. No, Reds' attack is rather in full hibernation right now. The Reds did not score a point in their last 28 rounds.

Red strikers are not even chances to score points. During the last three duels, they had four strokes (Tuesday), three strokes (Wednesday) and two strokes (Thursday). Only two of these balls in a safe place were for more than one goal.

The offensive difficulties of the Reds unfortunately overshadowed the quality of their starting launchers in the last three games.

Carson Spiers was automatically for six rounds without granting a single point Tuesday evening against the Texas Rangers. For his part, Hunter Greene launched seven innings on the hill, only granting a point on Wednesday against this same Texas, while Nick Lodolo gave six heats and two thirds of work and was credited from an undon -deserved point on Thursday evening in Milwaukee.

The Reds will try to end their sequence without point this evening (Friday) in Milwaukee when they send Nick Martinez to the mound against the Brewers. The first launch is scheduled for 8:10 p.m. (Quebec time).
