The Nationals change their on-field coaches

They now have new names at first and third base. Gerardo Parra goes to first base, in particular.

Sources: Gerardo Parra will be the Nationals’ first base coach next season and Ricky Gutierrez will be the team’s third base coach.

Parra has served as a special assistant to GM Mike Rizzo since 2022. Gutierrez was the team’s run prevention coordinator last season.
