Mike Trout considers himself 100% healthy

Mike Trout had bad luck last year. The star player has missed a huge part of the season due to a right calf injury.

In the end, he will only have played 36 games in 2021. It was also the first time in his career that he missed so many games in one season.

But, good news for Angels fans and for MLB. Trout told a reporter for the Los Angeles Times that he was 100% recovered from his boo and should be in place when training camp opens.

Finally, when training camp gets under way.

Trout is still part of the elite of the Manfred circuit. In 36 games last year, he had a .333 batting average and 18 RBIs.

Now, it will be interesting to see if he will still be able to produce at this rate after being sidelined for so long.

In health, the Angels could be one to watch next year. After all, they have two of the league’s best hitters in Trout and Shohei Ohtani and they have the pieces to be successful on the full-season sample.

The 2022 season promises to be interesting on several levels, let’s face it…

Now all that’s left is an agreement between the players and the league and we’ll be driving.
