In the last few days, there has been talk of the possibility of seeing Mike Clevinger getting along with the Chicago White Sox.
And that is done. Ken Rosenthal reports the pitcher is returning to the American powerhouse on a one-year contract.
He should make at least eight million dollars.
This means that there are several question marks in the rotation of the White Sox, but the club still has the potential to have a good staff if all goes well.
The goal, as outlined by Yannick Plante, is to compete with the Guardians in the division, who have an excellent pitching staff.
He’s so good that they let Clevinger go a few years ago.
The Clevinger experiment in San Diego was not a great success since the pitcher was injured and he never got around.
Will it be better this year, now that he will start the year healthy?
- Roberto Osuna is back in Japan.
- The Marlins will draw from the Dodgers.
