Marcell Ozuna was kicked out of the Braves game for admiring a single

Marcell Ozuna is currently in the third year of his big contract, which earns him around $16 million per season. And let’s just say the Braves don’t have to be happy customers for what he brings.

In fact, he started his season so badly that there were rumors that he could be designated for assignment, or released.

He recovered in May, but let’s just say he didn’t have a lot of slack. A club with such aspirations cannot keep a guy who is not performing.

Already it is surprising to see him play after he was accused of domestic violence…

All that to say that he really is a candidate not to be the favorite of the supporters and that yesterday he gave a reason to his detractors not to encourage him.

He hit, against Arizona, a shot that would have homered just about anywhere else but not at Chase Field. He therefore admired a mere 415 feet when he should have run more than that.

I hate to see guys not running on bases and even if we agree that a shot like that is normally a home run, you have to be aware of the stage where you are playing. Ozuna obviously wasn’t.

In a match against a big club, moreover, it does not forgive.

His manager therefore withdrew him from the match for the rest of things in order to make him understand that in life, you must avoid admiring a single. It was the right decision for the manager to make.

The Braves won the game 8-5.

  • Defensively, the Red Sox need to give more.
  • Hard blow for the Yankees.
