Kris Bryant should be 100% in training camp

After signing a $ 182 million pact with the Colorado Rockies, Kris Bryant had a season below expectations, among other things due to recurring injuries.

But now 2023 could be a symbol of resurgence for Bryant, who will start the next health campaign. Indeed, according to Patrick Saunders of the Denver Post, the outfielder will have no physical restrictions at the start of next spring camp.

Bryant played just 42 games last year before a sprained back and plantar fasciitis ended his campaign in August.

The latter would have started to accelerate his rehabilitation shortly after the end of the season and did not experience any setbacks, either with his back or his foot. However, we will have to wait to see Bryant’s reaction under the hot sun of Arizona, since this type of injury remains delicate and the recurrence rate is relatively high.

The main concerned nevertheless affirmed that he was working with Scott Pensivy, a physical therapist based in Las Vegas who has worked with NBA players, to correct the problem and reduce the possibility of aggravation of the injury.

The Rockies will badly need a healthy Bryant, coming off a season of less than 70 wins and struggling considerably on offense.
