The Tigers obviously want to improve. The club is often mentioned in rumors this winter, which leads us to believe that some great signings are coming.
And now a first addition has just been announced.
According to Jon Heyman, the Tigers have landed free agent Kenta Maeda for a two-year period.
The thrower therefore remains in his division.
Without being the most important addition of the off-season, we are still talking about a veteran who will be able to help the Tigers in a more limited role.
The pitcher signed an eight-year contract worth $25 million in total in 2016 in LA, upon his arrival in the United States. The contract is finally due to expire.
