Julio Urias placed on administrative leave

A few days ago, the Dodgers learned that Julio Urias had been arrested for domestic violence. The launcher is on his second experience of the genre.

If he’s guilty again, he really is a pathetic man.

We know that the MLB has launched an investigation into the subject and we expected to see the MLB react. She can’t suspend it without an investigation, but she can still act.

He was therefore placed on administrative leave for the future. This was precisely what was expected in his case.

The Players Association approved the whole thing. The pitcher is paid and is accumulating service time, but he cannot join his club at this time.

Expect the whole thing to be long. I expect the case to conclude when the World Series is won and the pitcher is a free agent.

And no, no one will sign it.

The Los Angeles Dodgers, who compose without Urias, without Tony Gonsolin and with a diminished Clayton Kershaw, support MLB in all of this.

Also note that the Dodgers have decided to cancel the bobblehead promotion of Julio Urias, which was to take place on September 21. Good idea.

TBD bobbleheads will be given instead.

I can’t wait to see what happens next. But at the same time, we suspect quite a bit of what awaits him: he will be suspended and he will not have a contract. His MLB career is over.

I expect to see him sign in Mexico in the next few years.
