Jazz Chisholm Jr. on the cover of MLB The Show 23 game

In recent weeks, there have been rumors that Jazz Chisholm Jr. is the athlete on the cover of popular MLB game The Show.

And now this afternoon, the rumor has been confirmed.

The center fielder (because yes, he was moved to center field by the Marlins with the arrival of Luis Arraez in town) is an extravagant guy, but he plays for Miami.

It sounds like picking that player has the air of “making baseball cool again,” which isn’t a bad idea, after all.

He’s not the best player on his team (Sandy Alcantara), but I like the choice.

MLB The Show obviously likes to take the flavor of the moment to be on the cover of its game, but seeing Jazz is more or less along the lines. He hasn’t had a big 2022 season due to injuries…

One thing is certain: he is a very outgoing guy who will be very proud to be on the cover of the game. He will take great pleasure in representing the game and promoting it.

I like the choice.
