Hal Steinbrenner doesn’t understand Yankees fan reaction

The New York Yankees won their second straight game last night (Wednesday) against the Seattle Mariners, which allows them to win their first series in their last five.

Despite everything, discontent continues to be felt among the fans, among other things because of the team’s failures since the loss of captain Aaron Judge.

If sometimes these criticisms are justified, it is still early to judge the true value of this formation, especially considering the number of players who visited the infirmary and who are still there.

It is for this reason that owner Hal Steinbrenner does not understand the reaction of his team’s fans.

I’m a bit confused this year as to why they are so upset in the third week of June. They are upset, and that will get my attention, of course. Everyone just needs to know that we’re working hard on all fronts to get this back on track and start playing like we did for a few weeks in May.

Whoever seems to be much more involved than before in order to finally win a first championship since 2009 is totally right.

The Bronx Bombers played all but two of their games in June without the services of the Judge, in addition to the notorious absences of Carlos Rodon, Nestor Cortes, Frankie Montas and Jonathan Loaisiga, to name a few. In addition, outfielder Harrison Bader has just returned to the game.

It is true that the New York formation has just been swept away by the Boston Red Sox and that it is currently in third place in the East Division of the American League. But if the playoffs started today, she would be in the picture and anything could happen from then on.

All this, without several masterpieces. Chill out.

  • The Pirates are doing poorly these days, but not as much as the Cardinals.
