Fenway Park: A ball is lost in the scoreboard of the Green Monster

You think you’ve seen it all?

Tonight, the Boston Red Sox take on the Kansas City Royals. The game is taking place on the Boston side at the time of this writing.

But what grabs attention is nothing like what you’ve seen before in the wonderful world of MLB baseball.

A ball got lost in the Green Monster’s scoreboard.

How is it possible? This is the question that everyone is asking right now because even watching the video, it leaves us perplexed.

The Royals batter’s ball lodged directly without an out-indicating light.

Poor Masataka Yoshida searched for the ball for quite a while before realizing he wasn’t blind: he couldn’t see it.

We agree that it is only at Fenway Park that this is possible. With the painting which is still old-fashioned and at ground level, it opens up possibilities.

It’s the charm of the stadium.

I’m sure we won’t be able to see that again soon since it’s quite rare for bullets to end up in such a place.

  • The Dodgers will be dangerous if their good pitchers come back.
  • And 200 for the Phillies slugger slugger.
  • A first home run for this Phillies hopeful.
  • Justin Turner is in bad shape.
