Year after year, the Los Angeles Dodgers find themselves in the thick of rumors bringing MLB’s top players to their organization.
And that’s normal. The team is one of the most prestigious in the Majors and has the money to sign big players.
And it could still be the case this season.
After seeing Corey Seager quit to sign Texas, the Dodgers need a shortstop. And you know as much as I do that there are very good ones on the market right now.
The names of Trevor Story as well as Carlos Correa have all been heard in LA, possibly the best players at that position still available to MLB rosters.
But, asking the question, could we actually see the Dodgers add Carlos Correa to their roster?
Correa could definitely fill the hole at shortstop for the Dodgers, which would likely see Trea Turner sent to second base again.
We know the Puerto Rican is asking for lots and lots of money, but that’s not a problem for the Dodgers.
The question is whether the team really wants to bring a Houston rival into the room, a guy who beat them in the infamous story of stolen signals orchestrated by the Astros.
Besides, I don’t think I need to tell you that the fans hate him over there…
The file will be followed in the coming weeks, at least when the damn work stoppage will be settled and action can resume in MLB.
