Diamondbacks tie World Series 1-1

After watching the best game of the current playoffs last night (Friday), we couldn’t wait to see the rest of this 2023 World Series.

For this second duel, pitcher Merrill Kelly was automatically for the Arizona Diamondbacks while Jordan Montgomery took his place on the mound for the Texas Rangers.

Following a slow start to the game, with the score being zero everywhere at the start of the fourth inning, the two lambs sacrificed by the Toronto Blue Jays for a pittance, Gabriel Moreno and Lourdes Gurriel Jr., opened the game. scores with the help of a solo homer and a timely single, respectively.

True to form, the Rangers offense took no time to respond with Micth Garver’s long solo ball at the end of the fifth inning.

The Serpents came back, however, adding two runs to their lead in the top of the seventh inning, courtesy of singles from Evan Longoria and Corbin Carroll.

Then, Arizona scored three more runs in the next inning, cruising to a convincing 9-1 victory and tying the World Series at 1-1.

The two teams will cross swords once again Monday evening, but this time at Chase Field in Phoenix, while for the occasion Brandon Pfaadt will be on the mound for the Diamondbacks, while for the Rangers, the starting pitcher is still not announced.

The show has only just begun.
