Curt Schilling is known as a horrible human being. No one likes working with him and the more time passes, the more people have bad things to say about him.
And now, due to horrible behavior, Schilling has been talked about for the wrong reasons.
What you need to know is that without really knowing the reasons which pushed him to act in this way, the former pitcher claimed, in a podcast, that Tim Wakefield was suffering from cancer.
The problem? Wakefield didn’t say it. And obviously he didn’t intend to say it.
So everyone started criticizing Schilling (rightly) on social media. He really got washed by everyone.
The Red Sox even lectured their former pitcher by mentioning that we were not allowed to talk about another man’s state of health without his permission. The Sox got Wakefield’s OK for that.
We take this opportunity to wish Wakefield and his family good luck with all of this. After all, brain cancer is big.
Moreover, it is true that another former ballplayer has brain cancer. This is an aspect that the authorities will have to look into.
Tim and Stacy, his wife, aren’t the only ones upset. People across the baseball world are furious with Schilling’s action.
Catherine Varitek, Jason’s wife, sent Schilling to see if he was there. We’ll say it like that.
Schilling has really crossed the line and I think for a lot of people it’s one time too many. In my opinion, it’s blocked almost everywhere.
It was already polarizing, but now…
- Spencer Strider jokes that it’s better without the fans.
- Chris Martin: season over.
- The Jays don’t have much of a tiebreaker advantage.
