Speculation is rife regarding Clayton Kershaw’s future.
The 33-year-old pitcher still finds himself without a contract for next season, and some rumors link him to the Texas Rangers.
In fact, it would likely be between the Rangers and the Dodgers in the end.
That could be big news considering Kershaw has played all of his career games in a blue-and-white Los Angeles Dodgers uniform.
Jeff Wilson of the Texas Rangers Newsletter, however, dampened the hopes of fans, who no longer seem to believe in the veteran’s signing for a rather… unique reason.
After several weeks where no one knew where he was, we saw him in Los Angeles on Sunday for the famous Super Bowl. Any hint that he will re-sign with the Dodgers?

During his career, Kershaw has never finished a season with a negative record. He may have slowed down a bit over the past few campaigns, but he’s still a pitcher who can do great service for an MLB organization.
For this reason, it will be interesting to follow the developments in the dossier.
Dodgers fans will surely be thrilled if he decides to stay in town…while Texas fans will be excited to add such a pitcher to their starting rotation.
