Carlos Correa doesn’t blame the Giants

These days, the Minnesota Twins are in San Francisco to face the Giants. Obviously, this means that Carlos Correa is in a stage where he had to play.

Recall that he signed a 13-year, $350 million contract with the Giants before his physical tests changed the game and pushed his agent to sign him elsewhere.

He finally signed with the Mets (who had the same fears as the Giants) and the Twins, where he plays for real, finally.

But as we know, he did not sign for $ 350 million in Minnesota. He signed for six years and $200 million. The Twins have the power to push that up to 10 years and $270 million.

This means that in the end, it will have cost him millions of dollars. Does he blame the Giants for all this? The answer is no.

Asked about it by California media, Correa said he’s not a resentful guy in life. He moved on.

For the Giants, it was an acknowledgment of failure since, once again, a star does not wear the club’s uniform.

The more we talk to Correa, the more we realize that he wanted to sign in San Francisco for the money. Looking back, he is happy not to have a 13-year contract in his pocket, he who will be able to decide, in six years, if he wants to continue playing.

Even if it was a shock at the time, he is happy to be in Minnesota for the rest of his career. He feels that nothing happens for nothing.

But to be in San Francisco this week must be special.
