Boston mourns the departure of Xander Bogaerts

The Boston Red Sox let Xander Bogaerts go three years after trading Mookie Betts. The club acts as if it doesn’t have the resources of a big market, which is illogical.

Not giving him a nice offer instead is the result of such a stampede. After all, he probably would have signed for much less than $280 million a year ago… if the offer had been fair.

All of this means Red Sox fans aren’t exactly among the happy customers, and Chaim Bloom’s position is put at a price by fans.

And that, the main interested party suspects.

On social media, every post involving the Red Sox is all about Bogaerts. People can’t believe it happened.

Chris Martin, for example, was not welcomed with dignity since under the publication betting to formalize his contract, it does not speak much of him.

This is just one example among many others.

Alexandria Ortiz, the daughter of Big Papi, notably published a photo of the house of her neighbors. This is seen as a clear sign of desperation for the Boston franchise.

All over Twitter, the comments are from people who are used to seeing the Red Sox attract big names. But in recent years, the opposite has been happening.

It only remains to hope that Rafael Devers will not sign in San Francisco in a year to complete the Californian exile of the stars of the Red Sox.
