MLB decided to crack down on Tim Anderson, Jose Ramirez and Emmanuel Clase on the sidelines of Saturday night’s all-out battle.
It was expected, we’ll tell each other.
Anderson (six games), Ramirez (three games) and Clase (one game) will have to be on the sidelines for a while. This is what has just been announced.
The two instigators will appeal their case.
Mike Sarbaugh (who works for Cleveland) and the two managers also got a game.
The fact that Tim Anderson was the instigator of the battle explains why he was suspended longer than his colleague. After all, it was Ramirez who had the last laugh.
And while Anderson didn’t take what happened on Saturday (and beyond, we understand), he’s been suspended for a long time.
Remember that the two teams will no longer cross swords this season, which will give the two clans time to ease the pressure a little.
Too bad for baseball since rivalries are created by clashing.
But for gamers, it’s just as good. After all, sometimes it’s quite violent what happens and not crossing swords is just as well.
That said, note that the next match between the two teams will be eagerly awaited. After all, all fans saw what happened on Saturday night.
It will therefore be to follow.
- Justin Verlander is at the White House with his teammates.
- Dinelson Lamet is in Boston.
