“Anthony Rendon hates baseball”

Angels fans and Nationals fans don't have exactly the same reactions when it comes to talking about Anthony Rendon.

In Los Angeles, he's a player whiny who is on the injured list all the time. He is also a player who is horribly overpaid.

And in Washington, he's a player who won the World Series…and left on time.

Since he has been in California, we realize more than ever what a bad person Rendon is. We see it in his interviews (he is stupid with journalists), in particular.

But we can also see it through the words of his former teammates.

Jonathan Papelbon, who isn't exactly the most beloved player in teammate history either, opened up about it on Twitter. For what? Because.

Basically, we learned in an interview that Rendon would like to reduce the number of games in a baseball season. 162 is too much in his eyes.

This is where comments about his injuries surfaced. Rendon hasn't played a full season since the short 2020 season, which sparked some backlash.

Jared Carrabis, well known in Boston, noted on Twitter that no one hated baseball more than one of the highest paid guys who never played.

And that's where Jonathan Papelbon, a former teammate of Rendon's, said Carrabis was right. He says he really hates baseball.

In his eyes, Rendon should just play half the games, if it's that hard… but on condition of leaving half his salary on the table.

Rendon is better off staying healthy in 2024. In his fifth year of contract, we are there.
