Another sexual assault and assault charge for Trevor Bauer

As if he hadn’t been talked about enough for a few years, now the name of Trevor Bauer has resurfaced in the news.

And again, it’s not for the right reasons, far from it…

Indeed, the former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher is accused by an Arizona woman of sexually assaulting and strangling him, according to court documents filed last December in which the latter alleges that Bauer raped and impregnated at the end of 2020.

The plaintiff also claims that four other incidents in which Bauer physically assaulted her occurred, including one where the gunner held a steak knife to his throat.

The suit follows a letter sent to Bauer by the victim’s attorney in January 2022 requesting a payment of $3.6 million.

This woman is the fourth person to accuse Bauer of assault. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office declined to press charges against Bauer last February over allegations made by a San Diego victim in 2021, while two other women filed charges last summer.

Predictably, Bauer denied those allegations and filed a countersuit against the woman, accusing her of extortion and fabricating her pregnancy.

The Dodgers released their pitcher last January after he served a 194-game suspension. Bauer then went into exile in Japan.
