You’ve probably seen footage of Anthony Rendon reacting badly when a fan said bad words to him. Rendon, as if he had never heard of trash talk, flipped out.
Here are the pictures.
What you need to know is that Rendon doesn’t exactly look good in all of this. The Angels player looks like a madman who used violence to get out of such a situation.
Some aren’t afraid to say he’s an idiot.
All that to say that currently, an investigation is taking place to determine if Rendon deserves a suspension from major league baseball, but also if he deserves a slap on the wrist in civil court.
And let’s say that aside from the gesture, the Angels don’t look good in handling the case.
After all, nothing concrete was said yesterday from the Angels. The club may have made Rendon available to the media today, but they can’t say anything.
So it looked bad in sanctifying his camp.
The Angels and the player do not seek to excuse his gesture and life seems to go on. There seems to be a pretty intense unsaid right now in the locker room.
Poor Mike Trout. After all, he has to deal with it all…and he knows that’s not helping Shohei Ohtani, a guy who’s not exactly confrontational, get attached to the Angels.
