The Seattle Mariners just traded Abraham Toro to the Milwaukee Brewers.
He’s part of the deal to send Kolten Wong to the Mariners, but Toro isn’t going alone. Jesse Winker is going with him to Wisconsin.
We knew the Brewers wanted to clean up (after trading Hunter Renfroe to the Angels) and that’s it. The Mariners therefore solidify their infield.
In addition, Milwaukee got their hands on two players who did not have the season of their career with the Mariners in 2022. Will Winker be able to revive in a division he knows?
But OK. What interests us above all is the fate of Quebeckers.
Toro has struggled to find consistency in 2022, his first full season with Seattle. Can he do better with the Brewers? We wish him.
