Aaron Judge wants to see Sean Casey return to New York in 2024

New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge seems to be fully embracing his role. To the point where he protects everyone in the organization, including the coaches.

Indeed, despite the fact that manager Aaron Boone has a certain share in the Bombardiers’ setbacks, the Judge ruled that he wanted to see the skipper and his friend be back in 2024.

And now the great outfielder is doing it again with hitting coach Sean Casey.

Sean Casey is one of the best guys in baseball. He was great. He has a good baseball mind. He also has good baseball stories and has a great way of relaxing guys. He understands how difficult this game is on a daily basis. He keeps us ready to play.

If Judge’s wish regarding Boone is questionable, he is absolutely right about the Casey situation. The latter arrived during the season and should be able to put the Yankees hitters under his control over a longer period.

Additionally, New York’s advanced hitter stats have improved since Casey arrived in the Bronx. Even though this may not have materialized into concrete results, we see that it is moving in the right direction.

But the big question is whether Casey himself wants to return in the pinstriped uniform. From the mouth of the main interested party, nothing is decided yet.

It was one of the greatest experiences I’ve had in my life. I love these guys so much. This is definitely a decision I will have to make at the end of the year. I will have to talk to my two daughters who are still at home. I think that’s an important factor. I’m going to talk to Boonie and see if they want me back.

If ever Boone and his sidekick Brian Cashman were to want to get rid of Casey, it would highlight a notorious incompetence.
