New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge is known for his class, both on and off the field. And this, often away from the cameras.
And the last few days have been no exception in the New York jungle.
Indeed, New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito shared his experience with Peter Scharger of the FOX Sports network.
Two nights ago I went into town for dinner, and at the table next to me was Aaron Judge. I saw him out of the corner of my eye, but I didn't want to go say hello yet, so I waited until after dinner.
The New Jersey native then continued the story.
I went to pay, and the waiter came over and said Aaron paid our bill. And then I was like, “This guy knows who I am? »
Compared to Judge, DeVito still has a ways to go before becoming a star in the Big Apple, with the 2022 American League MVP getting a $360 million contract for the next decade and the Giants' quarterback operating just above the minimum wage.
However, this did not prevent Judge from making a nice gesture towards a compatriot.
DeVito has maintained a 3-2 record since becoming the Giants' starter following Daniel Jones' injury. The quarterback threw for a total of 1,087 yards while accumulating eight touchdowns against three interceptions.
Unfortunately, the undrafted rookie couldn't beat the overrated Philadelphia Eagles late yesterday afternoon (Monday).
