Aaron Judge is better – Passion MLB

As recently as Sunday, we learned that pitcher Carlos Rodon would return to play Friday with the New York Yankees. Reinforcement greatly appreciated by the Bronx Bombers.

As good news never comes alone, we now learn that Captain Aaron Judge has taken another step towards his return, now taking swings on a tee.

According to manager Aaron Boone, Judge is doing what he can tolerate physically considering the sprained right toe that has sidelined him since June 3.

For his part, batting coach Dillon Lawson is encouraged by what he sees of his protege’s momentum.

His momentum seems very good. He is able to spin on his right foot and it doesn’t seem to bother him at all. It is certainly a positive sign.

Even if there is still no timetable for a possible return to the grass, this is a good progression for the Judge, who we doubted he could see again in 2023 at some point.

Judge will have to pass many more tests before a return to the roster is even possible. We can therefore expect to see the giant again somewhere after the All-Star Game break.

The Yankees will need it both defensively and batting, who have a record of eleven wins against thirteen losses without the services of their captain.
