Aaron Judge (again) makes his way to the injured list

We knew that the case of Aaron Judge was not going to be easy to manage for the Yankees, but now the worst scenario has arrived: he will take the path of the injured list.

Due to a sprained toe from contact with the fence at Dodger Stadium, the star outfielder will need to take time off to recover.

It is understood that even if the Dodgers announced that changes were going to be made to their fence, it is too late for the Yankees, who will not play there by 2025.

And in the short term, the Bronx club must do without its captain for at least a few weeks.

The goal is to see him again by the All-Star Game in a more or less pessimistic scenario, but ideally he would play again in June.

And with Harrison Bader who is down as well as Giancarlo Stanton who is only DH, the club’s potato field is tough at the moment.

All that to say an injection was given to the outfielder in an attempt to help his toe. After all, he suffered an injury whose pain lingers on over time, which isn’t exactly ideal.

At least the good news is that there is no fracture as such.

The bad news (the other bad news) is that Nestor Cortes Jr. won’t be able to pitch for two weeks due to his shoulder. It’s a blow for the Bombardiers.

Ryan Weber is due for elbow surgery. That’s the other bad news #2 in New York…

  • The big hope of the Reds has arrived.
  • And 22 for Pete Alonso.
  • What’s going on with the Cards?
