WINTER GARDEN, Fla. — The city of Winter Garden has locked in a plan to preserve Stoneybrook West Golf Course as greenspace. The course closed in December of 2018, falling into deteriorating conditions.
In regards to, who bought Stoneybrook West Golf Course? On Tuesday, March 16, Judge Lori Vaughan, of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court Middle District of Florida, approved a deal for the city of Winter Garden to purchase the golf course for $2 million and allow the homeowners association to take it over.
