Cowboys: Trevon Diggs out until 2025

Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones confirmed on 105.3 The Fan that Trevon Diggs (CB) will not return for the end of the 2024 season. The executive explained that it is a new injury.

This time affected by knee cartilage, the cornerback will have to go through surgery. And Jones explained a return for 2025 summer camps is not being considered at this time.

“I don't think he'll be able to play during training camp. I think he can come back right before the season starts,” Jones told The Athletic.com.

Trevon Diggs and his knee, a story already seen.

Diggs already had his 2023 season cut short due to a knee injury. In November he suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament.

Pro Bowler (2021, 2022) and All-Pro (2021) he is a major player in the Texan defensive squad. The cornerback will therefore still be missed by a Cowboys team that is looking for itself. He concluded his season with 42 tackles, 2 interceptions and 11 passes defended.
