Seahawks – Packers (13-30): Green Bay tightens the game

Seattle Seahawks (8-6) – Green Bay Packers (10-4): 13-30

Ruthless in defense, serious in attack, the Packers logically dominated the Seahawks on a bad evening. So bad that they saw Geno Smith (15/19, 149 yards, 1 int) leave the field with a knee injury in the third quarter.

An outing that didn't change much. Seattle was dominated before this injury, and it was always the case after.

With 7 cumulative sacks, the Packers defenders left the opposing quarterbacks no chance. And Josh Jacobs (26 races, 94 yards, 1 TD – 4 rec, 42 yards) was the engine of the attack before Jordan Love (20/27, 229 yards, 2 TDs) and Romeo Doubs (3 rec, 40 yards, 2 TDs) only sealed the fate of the match with a touchdown in the last quarter.

The Packers on the shoulders of Josh Jacobs

If you were looking for the ball early in the game, it was probably in the hands of Josh Jacobs. On the first offensive of the game, the runner had the leather on seven races and two receptions. It was therefore he who scored the first touchdown of the match (7-0). On the second possession, it was Jordan Love and Romeo Doubs who finished. And Green Bay quickly leads 14-0.

Stifled by opposing pressure, and in particular an unleashed Edgerrin Cooper (7 tackles, 1 sack, 1 int, 3 pressures on the QB), Geno Smith is not at the party. He even threw an interception in the end zone a little less than three minutes before the break, which his team reached leading 20 to 3.

The Seahawks in slow motion

Already not very dashing at the start of the game, the Seahawks took an additional blow by seeing Geno Smith go out with a knee injury. The quarterback was able to get off the field on his own, which is rather reassuring. But he couldn't finish. And it was Sam Howell (5/14, 24 yards, 1 int) who took over as best he could. Zach Charbonnet (8 races, 54 yards, 1 TD) saves the honor with a touchdown in the last quarter, allowing Seattle to come back ten lengths (23-13).

But there is no real suspense. If Green Bay's offense has also slowed down, the defense is still as solid as ever. Howell is intercepted on a deep pass attempt. With the ball in the opponent's field, Love once again found Romeo Doubs a few actions later, this time for the KO touchdown.

The Packers continue to advance towards the playoffs, while Seattle finds itself tied with the Rams for the lead in the NFC West.
