Giants: Tommy DeVito (QB) forced starter

Drew Lock (QB) came, saw and lost. Then he left his starting position with a heel injury. Tommy DeVito becomes de facto the leader of the New York Giants offense. Brian Daboll confirmed the information at a press conference.

According to ESPN, Drew Lock was spotted in a walking boot. His heel injury seems serious, it ends two successive games in which he did not score a touchdown, threw two interceptions and completed barely 50% of his passes. A boon for the Giants.

Tommy DeVito, by default (also)

Drew Lock took Tommy DeVito's place when the latter suffered a forearm injury. This is the backlash in a battle that no one can win.

However, Tommy DeVito has already shown some interesting things for the Giants. In 2023, he finished the season with a 3-3 record as a starter. In this time he completed 64% of his passes for 1101 yards, 8 touchdowns and 3 interceptions. This 2024 season he only had the right to speak once against the Buccaneers in a very dull meeting. Next step for him: challenge the Ravens.
