Jimmy Butler to the Rockets, the Mavericks or the Warriors?!

It smells like the end of the marriage between Jimmy Butler and the Heat. Not extended during the last offseason, the fullback/winger would not be against a change of scenery, according to information from ESPN…

Miami should also listen to offers for its player, which means that the former Bulls, Wolves and Sixers could pack his bags, if the consideration is interesting. Still according to ESPN, Jimmy Butler's agent would have indicated that his client, who has significant negotiating leverage since he can test the market as a “free agent” next summer, and therefore threaten not to return to a franchise who does not interest him, would like, at 35, to join a club capable of winning in the short term!

In exchange for Jonathan Kuminga?

He would thus be interested in two teams from his native Texas, the Rockets and the Mavericksbut also the Warriorswho are looking for a star to support Stephen Curry.

The Golden State option also really makes sense, while the complementarity between Jonathan Kuminga and Draymond Green still poses important questions in the Bay. A departure of the Congolese to Florida, in exchange for Jimmy Butler, could therefore be considered. It remains to be seen what Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra think of it, because Jonathan Kuminga will be a protected “free agent” next summer, and it will therefore be necessary to extend it.

Unless these rumors are above all a way for Jimmy Butler's camp to force Miami's hand in order to obtain the extension that the six-time All-Star is waiting for, in order to stay in Florida.
