Son of Gilbert, Alijah Arenas turns heads

Son of former All-Star Gilbert Arenas, Alijah Arenas (2m00, 17 years old) decided to “skip a class”, and position yourself in the 2025 class. A decision confirmed this week. This change in his academic and sporting career now places him among the best recruits available for the next university season.

Currently considered the best shooting guard in the United States and the fourth best player in the 2026 class, Gilbert's son plays at Chatsworth High School (California). Last July on the Adidas 3SSB circuit, Alijah Arenas averaged 22 points per game, while converting more than 46% of his 3-point shots.

For the moment, the teenager has not yet chosen his university, but he is very courted since he recently visited the campus of the University of Arizona on the evening of Duke's visit, and he also visited the UCLA campus. Other interested programs include Kentucky, Kansas, Alabama, Texas and USC. Louisville, where his sister Izela currently plays, is also a possible option.
