The fairy tale continues: Quincy Olivari to sign with Stephen Curry's brand

The beautiful story of Quincy Olivari continues since the Lakers rookie is about to sign a contract with Curry Brand, a subsidiary of Under Armor, owned by Stephen Curry. According to his agentdiscussions had started a few weeks ago, and he will become the second player, after De'Aaron Fox, to wear the shoes created by the Warriors leader.

Signed in “two-way contract” by the Lakers, Quincy Olivari had lived a real fairy tale during a preseason match by crossing paths with his idol, Stephen Curry. Not only did he score 22 points that evening, but he was dubbed by his favorite player.

“I’ve loved it since I was 11-12 years old… I don’t even know what to say” he reactedwith tears in his eyes. “He's my favorite player of all time, and the first thing he said to me was that he was a fan of my game. Honestly, I'm a big fan of his. I had his jersey. He signed it twice. I slept in this swimsuit.”

From now on, he will play with his shoes on, and he should debut them in the G-League where he averages 23 points, 6 assists and 5.3 rebounds per game with the South Bay Lakers.

Two-way contract : Designed to create a new bridge between the NBA and the G-League, this type of contract allows each team to secure the services of two or three additional players, to develop them mainly in their affiliated development league franchise but also up to 50 matches in the NBA.
