Browns: NFL investigation into DeShaun Watson closed

No more risk of suspension for DeShaun Watson. Targeted by a complaint at the beginning of September, for a sexual assault during a meeting in Houston in 2020, Watson was released by the league according to Mary Kay Cabot (Cleveland.com).

An NFL representative told the journalist that the case was closed:

“The story is closed. There is insufficient evidence of a violation of the league's conduct rules. »

As for the courts, the young woman's complaint (the 24th against DeShaun Watson) was settled amicably on October 7.

On the field side, however, the problems are not over for the ex-Texan, victim of a ruptured Achilles tendon against the Bengals on October 20. For the moment, Jameis Winston is at the helm of the Browns offense.
