Bucky Irving (RB, Buccaneers) shines brightly. The more the season progresses, the more the rookie gains strength and confirms the hopes placed in him. With more and more responsibilities, Irving does not disappoint. The proof during Tampa Bay's last overtime victory against the Panthers. He put the team on his back with his 284 total yards and one touchdown. If other rookies, particularly quarterbacks, are perhaps more in the running for the title of young offensive player of the year, Bucky Ivring has nothing to be ashamed of for his season and would make a very good winner.
After Bucky Irving in attack, it is Leonard Williams (DE, Seahawks) who takes the defensive title. Rewarded for his titanic match against the Jets with 1 interception returned for a 92-yard touchdown and 2 sacks, he is seriously gaining momentum in this second part of the season. And the whole squad follows his example on the Seattle side. A good omen in the race for the playoffs which is raging in the NFC West. Finally, Braden Mann (P, Eagles) is honored for his six punts in Philadelphia's close victory against the Ravens.
In the NFC, we no longer really know if it's Josh Allen (QB, Bills) or Superman who plays for Buffalo. In a somewhat crazy action, he is credited with both the pass and the touchdown reception. He carries the team at arm's length and has also allowed the Bills to validate their ticket to the playoffs. Then, a new rookie appears. Tarheeb Still (CB, Chargers) intercepted Kirk Cousins twice and converted one of these balls into a 62-yard touchdown. Finally, despite the defeat, Kene Nwangwu (KR, Jets) climbed onto the podium for his 99-yard touchdown return kick.
