Brandon Ingram to join Klutch Sports

Zion Williamson And Brandon Ingram have both decided to leave their respective agents in recent days. And without much surprise, the Pelicans winger, who was until now represented by Excel Sports Management, will join Klutch Sports, the agency of the powerful Rich Paul.

This is what ESPN announces and it was expected since the announcement of his divorce from his previous agents.

Why is Brandon Ingram changing agents? Because, at 27, he is at a turning point in his career. Unable to agree with the Pelicans on a contract extension, he is more transferable than ever since he is at the end of his contract, and will therefore be an unprotected “free agent” at the end of this campaign .

Except he doesn't want to go anywhere, and rumors assure that he notably refused a transfer to Salt Lake City, explaining to the Jazz that he would not stay in Utah long term.

Zion Williamson, who for his part left the CAA agency, should not join Klutch Sports. Are these changes a sign that the Pelicans, authors of a catastrophic start to the season (4 wins – 16 losses) and last in the West, are going to change their squad? Response in the coming weeks…
