Cleveland Browns (3-8) – Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3): 24-19
Jameis Winston, it's usually a roller coaster. This Thursday was a snowstorm. Often fun, sometimes slippery, always entertaining.
The Browns quarterback helped his team lead 18-6 early in the final quarter. All this to better release a fumble and throw an interception which allowed Pittsburgh to get back in front.
But Winston (18/27, 219 yards, 1 int) recovered just in time. With just over three minutes to go, he led a 45-yard offensive in the snow, including a 15-yard pass to Jerry Jeudy (6 rec, 85 yards) on third attempt. And it was finally Nick Chubb (20 races, 59 yards, 2 TDs) who scored the winning touchdown 57 seconds from the final whistle. Russell Wilson's Avé Maria pass (21/28, 270 yards, 1 TD) on the last possession did nothing.
Browns defense closes the game
If Jameis Winston was able to carry out the necessary actions, it was first and foremost in defense that Cleveland built its success. Led by a Myles Garrett (3 sacks) on fire under the snow, the squad put pressure on Wilson and completely blocked Pittsburgh.
Missed field goal, failure on 4th attempt, field goal, fumble… The first half produced only three small points for the Steelers. The Browns have 10 thanks to Nick Chubb's first touchdown.
After the break, the Browns defense continues. She once again puts the Steelers in check on fourth attempt, then limits it to a field goal (10-6).
Too little, too late for the Steelers
The peak of the Winstonian spectacle takes place at the start of the last quarter, with an improvisation which leads the quarterback into the end zone on a crazy and acrobatic run. He even throws a two-point conversion to David Njoku as a bonus (18-6).

The match is getting carried away. Jaylen Warren responds (18-13) and Winston loses the leather. Wilson sends Calvin Austin (3 rec, 78 yards, 1 TD) into the end zone to take the advantage (18-19). Winston throws an interception right away and the die seems cast. But Pittsburgh punt after just a minute.
This is where Cleveland mounts its victory offensive thanks to its quarterback, who will have been able to recover in time this time.
Between the snow and a talented opponent despite his record, this match had everything of a trap for the Steelers. They fell in.
