Pro Basketball Manager 2025 is out

Coaching simulations continue to gain ground in the video game world and basketball is no exception. In this still fairly confidential segment, the developers of Umix Studios are acting as pioneers. Ten years ago to the day, the very first “Basketball Pro Management 2015” was released in collaboration with Cyanide, offering a fairly basic basis which has been considerably developed since.

Since yesterday, we have found the new opus of the genre on Steam. Pro basketball Manager 2025 aims to be the reference in the field and has made the necessary efforts to live up to its rank, with 90 national championships available including 17 women's championships, but above all 22 official licenses.

This is particularly the case for Betclic Elite and Pro B, but also other major European championships, Latin America and Oceania. Enough to offer a huge database since more than 2,000 teams and 60,000 players are integrated into the game!

The NBA without an “official” license

In terms of features, the game offers an important arsenal, with the integration for the first time of the management of your club's infrastructure, with 13 different buildings to improve to increase performance, income and attract the best young people. A new algorithm for simulated matches and matches played in 2D/3D has also been developed, and statistical tools are still numerous to evaluate the individual and collective performances of each team.

For the rest, everything has been configured to stick as closely as possible to reality, from the development of training to the game systems, including the management of your locker room, recruitment and of course the financial dimension, the nerve of the game. war !

As could be expected, the NBA still does not appear in the database under “official license”, the amounts linked to the image rights of players and franchises reaching completely crazy sums. The most prestigious league in the world can therefore be played with false names. However, a data editor allows you to modify each name manually in order to experience an NBA season in total immersion. For the most motivated, we can also create the WNBA, which is not available in the game because it is still too difficult to integrate with the rest of the women's championships in terms of calendar.

Here is the game trailer available on the Steam platform for 26.99 euros (playable on PC and Mac). Do not hesitate to leave your first feedback in comments if you have already had the opportunity to test it…
